Reporting a calculator problem?
A few details can make the issue easier to reproduce. Please include:
- The calculator name or page URL.
- The example values, units, and options you selected.
- The result shown and what you expected instead.
- Your browser and device, if the page or controls are not working.
- A screenshot, if it helps explain the issue.
You can use the email subject Calculator error: [tool name] to make your message clear.
Please use non-sensitive example figures. Do not send passwords, payment details, or private customer or employee information. Remove personal details from screenshots before sending them.
Before you get in touch
Where can I find the calculation formulas?
Check the explanation, worked example, and FAQs on the calculator page. These describe the inputs, assumptions, and what the estimate includes. If something is still unclear, email us with the page link.
Can you provide a quote for my job?
CalculatorForWork provides planning tools, not contractor quotes. Use rates and measurements that match your project, then confirm the scope and final price with your chosen provider.
Why is the estimate different from a local quote?
The result depends on your inputs and the calculator’s assumptions. Local labor rates, materials, access, taxes, and extra work can change an actual quote. Check the included costs and replace example figures with your own information.
How do I request a new calculator?
Email us with the task you need to calculate, the information you would enter, and the result you want to see. A simple example helps explain the request. Suggestions do not guarantee that a new tool will be added.
